Request a certificate confirming the u-value from your supplier to ensure optimum results for your BER.
- Did you install any insulation on the walls, roof or floor?
Ask your builder/contractor for a signed declaration of work confirming the insulation used and quantity installed, this has a huge impact and could bump your rating from a D to a B!
- Installed a boiler, heat pump or solar panels recently?
Ensure you get a sign off for any energy upgrade made to your home to ensure it’s improvement is recorded accurately in the BER calculations.
After the survey is complete and the BER result is calculated please request an upgraded report which will give customized in depth detail on each energy upgrade solution for your home at a small additional charge.
